Typically we can coordinate a pick up within 7-10 days of booking but we encourage you to speak with team members for more specifics as well as options like our Guaranteed service.
When will you deliver my vehicle?
When you place an order for your auto-enclosed shipping, you’ll receive an estimated transit time for your shipment. Typically, we’ll give you a delivery window. Transit times vary based on the distance of the move. However, since every delivery is unique, your car could arrive sooner than the estimated time provided.
Can I track my vehicle online?
Vehicles transported with Passport Transport are tracked using advanced satellite technology, ensuring precise location monitoring throughout the journey.
Should I prepare my vehicle for shipping?
Yes, you should prepare your vehicle for shipping to ensure a smooth and secure transport process. Passport Transport handles vehicles with the utmost care, but following these basic guidelines will help protect your car during transit:
- Do not fill the gas tank. Keep only about 1/4 tank of gas, which is sufficient for loading and unloading.
- Check antifreeze levels. If your car is being shipped from a warm to a cold climate, ensure it has enough antifreeze to prevent freezing in colder temperatures.
- Secure loose items. Avoid storing personal belongings in the car, but if there are any loose items, secure them properly to prevent damage. Note that Passport Transport is not responsible for damages caused by unsecured items.
- Disable alarm systems. Turn off all alarms, and let the team know if an alarm is installed. Provide instructions for deactivating it if necessary.
- Check tire pressure. Inflate tires to the recommended pressure level for safe loading and unloading.

Does Passport Transport ship inoperable or unusual vehicles, motorcycles, or extra parts?
Yes, Passport Transport ships inoperable vehicles, motorcycles, and unusual vehicles, including antique, specialty, and classic automobiles. Inoperable vehicles must be able to roll and steer and can be transported for an additional $150 fee. Extra parts are accepted on a case-by-case basis, and additional fees may apply depending on the items.
